Arrest and any form of punishment without the production of evidence on the sole authority of a politician is nothing other than the establishment of a police state. Attempting to justify it by deliberately scaring the population, as Tony Blair continues to do, is an affront to our culture, our history and is completely unacceptable. Perhaps he and his New Labour supporters haven't read (what on earth have they read?) George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four in which the governing party's three guiding slogans are: "War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength." skriver Ronnie Smith i Tony Blair is clearly unfit to govern.
